The Co-operative Banks are playing an important role in the economic growth of
the country. The Urban Co-operative Bank are rightly called as “ Mini
Commercial Banks”.
The Documentation is necessary from the point of view of various types of legal
hassles experienced by Urban Banks in recovering their overdoes. If the Legal
formalities are not completed at the time of giving loans and advances the
resultant effect is long drawn legal delays in recovering advances.
Sahakari already has the following information content on offer:

Court Case Tracking System
The Court Case Tracking System (CCTS) helps manage case transactions, maintain
history documents for retrieval and reference and share knowledge for the cases
amongst various authorized personnel in the organization.
The need for a Court Case Tracking System is because - most legal departments
today are faced with the following situation:
-
The files are maintained manually
-
Some cases are maintained “some not”.
-
Documents are removed / replaced and never returned.
-
No track is maintained of orders / day to day events in cases.
-
Non availability of back-up
-
Since history data is not available, there is no method to correlate files –
present or closed cases.
-
No security of system
-
No information is available electronically between offices.
CCTS enables better litigation management by facilitating the - Capturing of
case details filed in courts of law or cases before quasi-judicial bodies, MIS
generation through Reports and Statistics, tracking of Cases and actions
through a full processing cycle for informed and timely action.
Features:
Some of the user-friendly and major features in CCTS are listed below:
1. Case Detail Capture:
Addition, Deletion and Modification of Cases – Each Case can be entered giving
full details like Case Nos. Acts, Advocates, Departments, Courts Status,
Actions, list (summary), Cases referred etc. The single window allows the user
to navigate between various keys for performing the above functions.
Horizontal Links – allow users to link (or group) different cases together in a
meaningful way.
Vertical Links- allows linking cases which move from a lower court to a higher
court.
2. Access Control :
Access Control – prevents persons un-authorised from accessing the system and
allows hierarchy of users with different privileges to co-exist in the system.
This prevents other unauthorized persons from accessing the data in the system
and does not burden the user with having to log out.
Provision to add Master by Supervisor – Master additions and editing can be
done by the Supervisor. The set of Masters include advocate, officer, region,
acts, status etc. The masters allow for standardized description of the case
enabling efficient reporting apart from increasing efficiency of.
